Overview
This full-day tour take you to explore the culture and history near Ayeyarwaddy River by visiting the famous Yoke Sone Kyaung Monastery in Salay and the heritage museum of the famous writer Salay U Pone Nya during the time of the Myanmar Kings. You also visit the Popa Taungkalat Shrine, the home of 37 animist spirit entities, statues of which can be found at its base.

Itinerary
After Breakfast, our driver will pick-up from hotel and drive to Salay (approx. 2 Hours drives from Bagan).

After Lunch, drive to Mt.Popa, an extinct volcano and home of Myanmar’s most powerful “Nats” or Spirit Gods. To visit Poppa Mountain, we need to go up 777 steps of stairs.
