Itinerary

1. We either pick you up from Nafplio or meet you directly at the small, traditional beekeeping unit located just outside the town. This is where your one-of-a-kind experience begins!

2. (2h)

   We meet our local English speaking beekeeper who introduces us to the magical world of bees and beekeeping.. After this theoretical briefing suit up in a beekeeper uniform and join a seasoned beekeeper for a hands-on experience, learning the art of hive inspection and the delicate dance of beekeeping. He shows us the queen of the beehive and how the worker bees follow its orders. We see how the bees collect pollen form flowers and convert it to fresh honey, storing it inside the beehive. After this unique experience we taste delicious varieties of honey and Greek traditional sweets with pure Greek honey as the main ingredient.

3. We then take the road back for our departure point.

Good to know

• Infants are required to sit on an adult’s lap
• Specialized infant seats are available
• Suitable for all physical fitness levels
• A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
• Children must be accompanied by an adult
• Participants should wear: comfortable closed-type shoes, not sandals, Light-colored clothes, long cotton pants
• Not recommended for travelers allergic to bees
• Not recommended activity for children under 9 years old
