The tour continues with a peaceful boat journey drifting through the waterways past mangrove, spotting colourful bird species, and soaking in the serene ambiance. You’ll see local fishermen casting their nets and oyster collectors.

This is a day trip where you visit the tropical forest park.Makasutu is an ecotourism destination and is located about 40 minutes from your hotel. On arrival you will be welcomed with a complimentary coffee. Depending on the tide there will then either be a forest walk or a boat trip. A forest guide will assist and help educate you during the forest walk and boat trip.You will spot baboons, different species of birds and natural vegetation. You will also visit the fortune teller who will do some palm reading before finally visiting the wine tapper who will give you the opportunity to taste the palm juice. you will also see a demonstration on how to climb a palm tree to tap the wine and even have the chance to try to climb the palm tree yourself.
Meeting & pickup
We will promptly pick you up at your hotel at 9am. We can also pick up from other types of accommodation and be flexible. Just let us know in advance.
