3. Aros Viking Settlement which lies beneath the city. We’ll visit the spot where Aarhus began — a quiet but powerful reminder of its 1,200-year-old roots.

   Aarhus Cathedral is Denmark’s oldest and tallest church, right in the city center. If it’s open, we’ll step inside to see its medieval murals, grand organ, and the peaceful atmosphere that’s filled this space for over 800 years.

5. Aarhus Theatre is a beautiful old building with golden details and stained glass — it’s still the city’s main stage today. We’ll stop outside to admire its Art Nouveau style and hear a bit about its role in local culture.
